Service, service, service.... Customer service is always a critical area for any business and Mark and his team at TriStar really get that.

Went to TriStar after Goodyear at Kedron quoted me $950.00 to replace my radiator, water pump and hoses. TriStar said I needed the lower hose replaced - $15.00 THAT is how honest they are - and how dishonest a place like Goodyear at Kedron is. UPDATE: Goodyear told a customer this never happened - LIARS!. I challenge them to their face to deny this happened - wanna see the $950.00 quote?

Tri Star Automotive has been working on my cars five or six years. Until recently I have owned old cars with lots of miles believing that it is cheaper to fix problems then make car payments. The repairs they have preformed for me have included starters, alternators, coils, belt, plugs, sensors, AC, oil leaks, oil pan and many others. The only issue I have ever had with their work was a part that they ordered from Nissan quit working after a week. Tri Star paid for the towing and replaced the part with a new one for no additional charge. Most of the repairs take less than one day and the bill has never been more than what they have quoted me. Most of the time I use their ride service or borrow one of their loner cars for the day. Their shop is clean and the waiting area is small but comfortable. The staff is friendly, professional and not pushy.

These guys are great! They caught me in a bind when I had a break down traveling through Tyrone. Rather than taking advantage of the situation by charging me more, we agreed to a reasonable price, and then they finished an hour ahead of time and even took the additional labor that they didn't use off of my bill saving me money. These guys are great and would have a customer for life if I didn't live so far away.

Tri Star was recommended by a friend when I was having trouble with my 96 Suburban, after the experience .. VERY positive .. we started taking all the vehicles to them. We live 50 miles NE of Tyrone, an hour drive each way to the shop .. but would not consider having work done anywhere else. The last shop visit was for a 94 Explorer with Transmission issue .. the slipping problem was consistent with the need for a $2000+ rebuild, but they recommended a filter and fluid change to see if that corrected the problem before we went down the $$$$ road .. it did .. and saved $1900. This Spring my 97 Dodge Intrepid died in the driveway .. loaded it up on a car carrier with the Suburban and drove to Tri Star. I was expecting a Mass Flow Sensor problem or Ignition Module .. or worse .. nope, a dead spark plug (changed them all) and a new set of ignition wires. They are Great People and as a shade tree mechanic myself .. they are the only ones that will work on the vehicles .. except me. Worth the drive from anywhere ....

During the process of my repair work, they called and said, "I have good news, and better news. Which do you want first?" The good news was: my car was ready (really quick service). The better news was the fact that one of the parts they had ordered would not be needed, saving me $300! Now, think about that....Would I have known about that, lest they informed me? Of course not. Will they be my service organization from now on? Of course.

Nathan said they are good at diagnosing problems. They are clear about what he needs to purchase.
